Microsoft releases Dynamics GP 18.7
Microsoft has released news about the upcoming Dynamics GP October 2024 upgrades (GP 18.7).
While there are several new features and changes, the biggest story coming out of this release is news that Microsoft has once again committed to GP through 2028 and possibly beyond.
Additional affirmation that Microsoft remains committed to GP is very good news for organizations and their partners running GP. Microsoft keeps continuing to improve and maintain the GP software, even while it invests in growing its other ERP system, Business Central.
If your organization is using GP, it is business as usual with regular enhancements and upgrades.
Of the various features you can look forward to, through October and November of this year, Microsoft will launch several enhancements to GP, giving you an even more robust and flexible business management solution. New features include:
- The ability to reprint your EFT Payment Register
- Restricting payables by calendar year
- Displaying customer & vendor email address on detail entry
- Report Navigation lists can conduct mass emails
